HUDSON VALLEY NY CHAPTER
LADIES OF HARLEY (LOH) |

|
|
L.O.H. (Ladies of Harley) is a program sponsored by the H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) to support women motorcycle enthusiasts (both drivers and passengers). No matter if you ride or not, you can still be a part of L.O.H.
It is not a separate organization within H.O.G., but was established to encourage women to become more active in H.O.G and their local chapters.
L.O.H. membership allows you to participate in all the L.O.H. activities at various H.O.G rallies and events. (These may include workshops, seminars, photos, and other special events.)
When you register for L.O.H., you will receive an embroidered patch and a pin. Each time you renew, you will receive a pin indicating the year of membership.
You will be identified as a registered L.O.H. member by having the letters L.O.H. on your H.O.G. card.
The only requirement for membership is that you must be a member of H.O.G.
L.O.H. membership is free to active H.O.G. members.
To join, if you are not the owner and primary member yourself, you simply call: 1-800-CLUB HOG. You will be asked for the primary's (the owner of the Harley) H.O.G. membership number, and a credit card number to charge the associate membership fee to.
At that time, you should state that you would also like to become an L.O.H. member. They will send you your own H.O.G. card and patch, as well as your L.O.H. patch.
Now that you're "officially" an L.O.H. member, what do you want to do? Well, if you're new to the Chapter, you might want to just "sit on the sidelines" and take in all the players and positions and see where the team is going.
Or, you could just decide to help out "on the spur or the moment" at any activity. Or, if you really want to "jump right in and get your feet wet", you could volunteer to be on a committee. It's really up to you!
